Nick Fisher, a British TV scriptwriter, journalist and angler’s body was found after a search by Police. Nick Fisher, 63, was last seen in Hooke on Tuesday, November 15 2022, in the afternoon.

“Following extensive inquiries and searches by officers, assisted by Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR), the body of a man were sadly discovered in Dorchester on Thursday, November 17 during the morning.”
“While formal identification has not yet occurred, the body is thought to be that of Nick Fisher, and his family has been notified.”
“The death is not being investigated as suspicious, and the coroner’s office has been notified.”

Mr Fisher, who won a Bafta for his work on the ITV children’s drama The Giblet Boys, also contributed to episodes of EastEnders, Casualty, New Tricks, and Holby City.
He began his career as a magazine agony uncle in the 1980s and has since appeared on several shows, including ITV’s Dear Nick and BBC 5 Live radio show Dirty Tackle.
He was most well-known for his work on Channel 4’s Screaming Reels. He was also a River Cottage guest presenter and co-wrote The River Cottage Fish Book with Mr Fearnley-Whittingstall. He also contributed to The Independent.
