Young and her husband bought Inchconnachan, an island in Loch Lomond, to develop vacation rentals on the island.

The island has been the home of a colony of wild wallabies for the past 80 years, having been introduced in the 1940s.

Young and her husband are considering relocating the wallabies to make way for the vacation rentals, though this has met with some opposition. The island is a Special Scientific Interest Area and a conservation area.
