Hoda Kotb Ex-Husband: Who Is Burzis Kanga?

Burzis Kanga is the former husband of famous TV personality Hoda Kotb.

Kanga used to be a tennis coach at the University of New Orleans. He married Kotb in 2005, but divorced in 2008.

Their marriage did not produce any children.

Hoda Kotb is a broadcast journalist, TV presenter, and author, who co-hosts the NBC News morning show Today.

Born on August 9, 1964, in Norman, Oklahoma, Kotb attended Fort Hunt High School back in the 80s.

She later graduated from Virginia Tech, with a degree in broadcast journalism, and served as a member of the school’s Alumni Association Board of Directors for three terms.

Kotb began her career journey working for WXVT, a CBS affiliate in Greenville, Mississippi.

She later worked for WQAD in Moline, WINK and WWL.

Kotb has also been a correspondent for the TV news magazine program Dateline NBC.

Kotb is a best-selling author of the autobiography, Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee.

In 2018, she was named amongst the 100 Most Influential People by Times Magazine.

Kotb has won several awards for her role in journalism, including a Daytime Emmy Award and the Matrix Award.
