Jesse Rutherford is a singer, songwriter, actor, and lead vocalist of the popular rock band The Neighbourhood.
Born on August 21, 1991, in Newbury Park, California, Rutherford began singing in several bands and performing on stage as a child.
This opened him up to opportunities to appear in TV commercials, films and other TV projects such as in the 2002 film Life or Something Like It, and the 2002 film Bundy.
Rutherford even went on to appear in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode Marauders.

Rutherford co-wrote “Sweater Weather,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and went five times platinum in the USA in 2020, with his band members.
Hip-hop and R&B were combined in his first solo project, which was released in 2011 as a mixtape titled “Truth Hurts, Truth Heals.”
The Neighborhood band debuted “Female Robbery” in 2012; it was followed by “Sweater Weather,” a radio hit that peaked at number one on the Billboard charts.
Rutherford performed at a number of events, including Coachella and Lollapalooza.
In addition to creating the garageband app, Rutherford released his second solo album in 2019 under the title “GARAGEB&.”
