David English was a former president of RSO Records, cricket player, actor, and charity fundraiser from the United Kingdom.

Born on March 4, 1946, David started the Bunbury Cricket Club, through which he gathered the sum of £14 million for charity.

David established the Bunbury Festival, a national under-15s cricket competition, which has groomed 1000 first-class cricketers and over 125 international players.

David worked as a journalist for the Daily Mail before he later became a press representative for Decca Records.

David also had a successful acting career and appeared in the movies Lisztomania and A Bridge Too Far.

For his contributions to the sport of cricket and charitable causes, David received the MBE in the Birthday Honours in 2003 and 2010.

David died from a heart attack on November 12, 2022. He was aged 76.
