Kelly Chaundel Tshibaka is an American attorney and politician and Republican candidate in the 2022 United States Senate election in Alaska.

She served in the federal government from 2002 to 2019 in several inspector general offices.
Born Kelly Hartline in September 5, 1979, in Alaska, Kelly was raised in Wasilla and Anchorage.
The names of her parents are not known. However, they are often referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Hartline.

Her father was a union electrician as well as a Vietnam veteran while her mother worked at Alaska’s largest oil field, Prudhoe Bay.
Her parents once lived in a tent with her parents. According to reports, living in a tent was not unusual for people who wanted to become oil workers.

However, by the time she was born, her parents owned a house in Wasilla.
Her parents ensured that she had the best of education.
With the guidance of her parents, she graduated in 1995 from Steller Secondary School in Anchorage, after which she attended University of Alaska Anchorage and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999.
She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 2002.
A year prior to earning her Juris Doctor Degree and while at Harvard, she wrote an article for the Harvard Law Record saying that “Unlike race or gender, homosexuality is a choice”.
She later apologized due to the backlash, explaining that she had been assigned the article as a counterpoint piece, and added that “I don’t hold that view today”.
She is also on record to have said that she was the first in her family to graduate from college.
