Rajendra was Pant’s father who died in 2017. He used to be a school owner and had been a supporter of his son’s career.

Saroj has been a supportive mother to Pant. She would travel with her son during the weekends to train with Tarak Sinha at the Sonnet Cricket Academy.

Rishabh Pant is a professional cricketer from India who plays as the wicket-keeper for the Indian cricket team.
Born on October 4, 1997, in Roorkee, India, Pant has represented his country in all forms of cricket and has consistently scored runs in Test matches.

Pant made his One Day International (ODI) debut in October 2018, his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut in January 2017, and his Test debut in August 2018.
He was included in India’s T20I squad for the Nidahas Trophy in 2018 as well as the Test team for the series against England in the same year.
Pant won the Men’s Player of the Month award in the inaugural ICC Player of the Month Awards in 2021.
The following year, he was appointed India’s captain for the T20I series against South Africa.
Pant was the second-youngest player to captain India in a T20I.
In the final game of India’s tour of England in July 2022, Pant scored 125 runs and remained unbeaten to record his first ODI century.
