Obadiah (Obi) Toppin is a pro basketball player who plays as a power forward for the New York Knicks of the NBA.

Born on March 4, 1998, in Brooklyn, New York, Toppin finished from Ossining High School where he played basketball.

His collegiate career was with the Dayton Flyers, where he won the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and National College Player of the Year honors.

In 2020, Topping was drafted as 8th overall pick by the New York Knicks.

In 2022, he emerged winner at the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, after he finished second place in the same contest in 2021.

Also in 2022, Toppin achieved a then career-high of 35 points in a 114–92 win against the Washington Wizards; plus another 42 points in a 105–94 win against the Toronto Raptors.
