Francia Raisa Parents: Meet Renan Almendarez Coello And Virginia Almendarez

Francia Raisa s an American actress who was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, to a Mexican mother, Virginia Almendárez, and a Honduran-born radio personality, Renán Almendárez Coello.

Raisa’s father began using his new Latin radio personality, “El Cucuy,” a few years after she was born.

His show is broadcast on several affiliate stations across the United States. For six years, “El Cucuy” was the most-listened-to voice on Los Angeles radio, outperforming Rick Dees and Howard Stern.

Almendárez hosted the morning show on Los Angeles, California’s KLAX-FM, which had an estimated 3,000,000 listeners. Guzman left KLAX in September 2008 to launch a new radio network while continuing to host his Azteca America television show.

KLAX is now carrying Joaquin Garza’s “El Chulo de la Manaa” morning show from sister station WLEY-FM in Chicago. He was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 25, 2014.

Raisa is well-known for her roles in Bring It On: All or Nothing, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Grown-ish.

Raisa was cast in the How I Met Your Mother spinoff series How I Met Your Father in May 2021, which premiered on Hulu on January 18, 2022.
