Eddie George is a retired American football player, Eddie George was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

George graduated from Ohio State second in career rushing yards (3,768) and third in rushing touchdowns (44).

He finished with 4,284 total yards, 45 touchdowns, and a 5.5-yard per-carry average. In 2011, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection with the Oilers and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Eddie George was drafted in 1996 by the Houston Oilers (Tennessee Titans) and played for them until 2003. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection with the Oilers and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

He was also only the second player in history to rush for 10,000 yards in consecutive starts. With 128 consecutive starts, he also holds the record for the most consecutive starts.

Eddie George has 10,441 yards rushing, 268 receptions, 2,227 yards receiving, and 78 touchdowns in his career (68 rushing and 10 receiving).
