Born August 17, 1993, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Byard plays as a free safety for the Tennessee Titans of the NFL.
Byard began his career while at Martin Luther King High School, where he also participated in track events.
He later proceeded to the Middle Tennessee State University, where he graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts and made the most interceptions in the school’s history.
The Tennessee Titans selected Byard in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He had agreed to a $4.63 million, four-year deal with the team, along with a $897,060 signing bonus.
Byard was chosen for the Pro Bowl and the First Team All-Pro the following year.
