Sandy Cohen is the wife of late actor Danny Aiello whom he married in 1955 up until his demise in 2019.

Sandy was married to Danny for 64 years and the couple were blessed with four children and ten grandchildren.
Who was Danny Aiello?
Born on June 20, 1933, in Manhattan, New York, Danny was an actor, famous for his roles in the movies Do The Right Thing and The Godfather Part II.

Danny began his movie career journey as far back as the 1970s and went on to star in the films The Front (1976), Once Upon a Time in America (1984), Hide in Plain Sight (1984), The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985), Moonstruck (1987), and Harlem Nights (1989).

Other movies in which he appeared are Jacob’s Ladder (1990), Hudson Hawk (1991), Ruby (1992), Léon: The Professional (1994), 2 Days in the Valley (1996), The Last Don (1997), Dinner Rush (2000), and Lucky Number Slevin (2006).
The award-winning actor was an Academy Award nominee as Best Supporting Actor for playing the role of Salvatore “Sal” Frangione in Do the Right Thing (1989).
Danny passed away on December 12, 2019, after a brief illness caused by a long-term infection.
He was aged 86.
He is survived by his three children, and wife Sandy.
