According to information gathered by ABTC, popular controversial social media platform Twitter reportedly dissolved its team in Africa after setting up in 2021. Senior Partner Manager for Twitter Ghana and Nigeria, Mister Meister has shared a few farewell tweets that hinted that the African team that could not cement its values properly has been dissolved.

“It’s been a year working at a place I never imagined I’ll ever get to work. I’m glad that I could represent Africa & I didn’t let us down. My best career experience by far & it was beautiful whilst it lasted. Much love to all the amazing tweeps that made it worth it. #OneTeam,” Mister Meister posted in a tweet.
Meister was in-charge of verifying public figures and other important personnel on the app to avoid parody accounts and fraud.

Also, there have been reports that new CEO, Elon Musk on his rampant dismissal of employees will reportedly lay off half of Twitter staff tomorrow [November 5, 2022]. These employees are set to sue the Tesla boss for not following the right way by giving them 60 days notice ahead of time.
