Humphrey Bamisebi Olumakaiye was the Archbishop of the Anglican Province of Lagos, Nigeria, and a bishop of the Church of Nigeria. He was the father of Richard Tunbamise.

Olumakaiye was enthroned as the Bishop of Lagos on July 30, 2018, and shortly after in November 2021 presented as the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Lagos.
Olumakaiye has served as the Coordinator, Prayer Convocation for Ibadan Province, the Secretary of the Church of Nigeria’s Supra West (comprised of 63 Dioceses), and the Secretary of the Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo’s Proprietors Desk.

Olumakaiye was the first Nigerian priest to preach at London’s Melbourne Church. He was an annual guest lecturer at St. Luke’s Central in Birmingham, UK, for four years (2011-2015). He attended the World Mission Conference in Derbyshire and the University of Birmingham in 2003.
Most Reverend Humphrey Olumakaiye passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 53. According to a highly credible source within the Lagos Diocese, Olumakaiye died after a long battle with an unspecified ailment.
