What Has Greta Thunberg Actually Done for The Environment?

Popular climate change activist, Greta Thunberg is arguably the boldest young activist regarding environmental issues. She has boldly confronted world leaders and questioned them on how they have looked on as the world and environment get rotten as days go by.

She said across the Atlantic in 2019 on a yacht to attend a UN conference in New York and delivered one of the most remarkable climate change speeches in from of world leaders.

“You all come to us young people for hope. How dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words,” she told them.

She has been commended by great public figures including Prince Harry saying;

“every country, every community, every school, every friendship group, every family needs their own Greta.”

However, other world leaders did not really like her style of approach. Former US President Donald Trump shared that she should “work on her anger management problem” President Putin of Russia also described her as a “kind but poorly informed teenager.”
