What Causes Korea Stampede?

The crowd crush occurred at 22: 15 local time (KST), along an alleyway near Itaewon Station’s second exit and the Hamilton Hotel.

Local media groups said people crowded into a bar because of rumours that an unidentified celebrity was present, or the drug-laced candies were being distributed in clubs.
