Nigerian nollywood actress Ebele Okaro is a movie producer, entrepreneur, and television personality. The legendary actress was was born on 19th January 1964 in London but grew up in Nsukka, Enugu State.

The actress started her educational journey at the Santa Maria Primary School in Nsukka, Enugu State, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. Upon completion, Ebele Okaro gained admission into the Queen of the Holy Rosary Secondary School in Enugu State, where she obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.

After her wassce, Ebele Okaro gained admission to the University of Calabar in Cross River State, Nigeria to study Education, but due to her passion in Dramatic Arts, she switched over to Theatre Arts and graduated four years later with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.

Unlike many who discovered their talent and desire for acting, Ebele began at a very tender age. While in Santa Maria Primary School, she had featured in several drama and stage plays. From there, she had her first taste of mainstream media when she was doing her National Youth Service Corps at the Nigerian Television Authority,where she made several appearances on television. She finally joined the Nigerian movie industry in the year, 1996 but gained popularity in after starring in the famous movie, “Egg of life” and since then, she has featured in over 150 movies.

She has starred in movies with A-list actors like Pete Edochie, Kanayo O Kanayo, RMD, Jim Ike, Ramsey Noah, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola and a host of others.
