Mike Davis Scholar Obituary

Mike Davis was an American writer, political activist, urban theorist, and historian who is known to be one of the few American Marxist historians.

Mike Davis won the Getty Scholar at the Getty Research Institute on two occasions and also won the World History Association Book Prize on one occasion.

Mike Davis was very learned as he bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master’s degree, and started a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mike Davis was born in Fontana, California, on March 10, 1946, and died in San Diego, California, on October 25, 2022, at the age of 76 years as a result of oesophageal cancer.
