Late Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif has a net worth of approximately $11 million.

Sharif was a TV host who specialized as an investigative journalist, was known to have covered many political events and conflicts across different countries.

Born on February 22, 1973, Karachi, Pakistan, Sharif hosted the programme Power Play on ARY News, and served as News Director on AAJ News.

Sharif won several awards while he was alive. Some of them include the 2012 Agahi Award, the 2016 Investigative Journalist of the Year Award, the 2018 Current Affairs Anchor of the Year Award.

Sharif died on October 23, 2022, Nairobi, Kenya, after multiple gunshots were fired at him in Nairobi, Kenya, by the local police.

Although, the police had said his killing was a case of mistaken identity, but the Pakistani community has termed it an assassination.

For the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, Sharif’s death was “a great loss to journalism and Pakistan”.

The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), have called for investigations into the killing of Sharif.
