Hu Jintao is the former Chinese Communist Party General Secretary and President of the People’s Republic of China.

Hu Jintao is the father of two grown children. A son named Hu Haifeng and a daughter named Hu Haiqing, both of whom were educated at Tsinghua University.
His daughter Haiqing was married in 2003, at the age of 33, to Mao Daolin, an internet tycoon and former Chief Executive Officer of Sina.com
His son Hu Haifeng is a politician who currently serves as the CCP Committee Secretary of Lishui, Zhejiang, and was previously the deputy CCP Committee Secretary and mayor of Jiaxing.

Hu earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Beijing Jiaotong University and an Executive MBA from Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management.
Hu married fellow Tsinghua graduate Wang Jun, who is now an assistant at Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management.
Hu Haifeng was the chairman of Nuctech, a Tsinghua University-owned company founded in the late 1990s to manufacture large scanners for shipping, trucking containers, and railway cars, as well as luggage scanners and airport metal detectors.
