Jim Bolla Wife: Who is Dallas Boychuk?

Dallas Boychuk is a former women’s basketball and the wife of Jim Bolla, a college basketball coach from the United States. The couple had one daughter named Sasha.

Dallas Boychuk was the women’s basketball coach at Long Beach State. From 1982 to 1996, Jim Bolla was the head women’s basketball coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he won 300 games, the most in the team’s history.

Bolla returned to coaching in 2004, taking over at the University of Hawaii for five seasons and going 64-80.

Dallas, his wife, joined the team in 2008. She has a coaching resume that includes three Big West tournament championship games at Long Beach State between 1998 and 2003.

Sasha, their daughter, was a standout volleyball player at Coronado High School before going on to play at DePaul University, where she is currently a junior.

Bolla was diagnosed with cancer in August 2017 after visiting an emergency room. Carcinoid tumours began in the small intestine and spread to the liver.

The tumour could not be removed by surgeons. He died on the evening of October 21, 2022, at the age of 70
