Julia C. Emberton was the wife of Tom Emberton an American politician and judge from Kentucky.

Emberton and Julia, his wife, had been married for 65 years. The couple were the parents of two children and five grandchildren.

In 1971, Emberton ran for governor of Kentucky, and in 1987, he was appointed to the Kentucky Court of Appeals.

Emberton was re-elected to the Court of Appeals twice and served as chief judge of the appellate court until he retired in 2004, according to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
