John Dunsworth was an actor who hailed from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, although he had Canadian citizenship.

He was best known for appearing in the cult comedy series Trailer Park Boys.
John starred in many films including the supernatural drama series Haven, the CBC film Shattered City: The Halifax Explosion (2003), and Virginia’s RuN.
In 2010, John appeared in the series The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Fun Time Hour.
John passed away after a brief illness on October 16, 2017, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He was aged 71, and had suffered complications related to thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), before he died.
Before his demise, he resided in Nova Scotia with his wife, Elizabeth, and four children – Sarah, Zoë, Molly, and Geoff.
The Trailer Park Boys actor was buried at St. Anthony’s & St. Augustine’s Catholic Cemetery, in Nova Scotia.
