Who Is Steven Gerrard?
Steven Gerrard is a former professional footballer who now manages the Premier League club Aston Villa.
Born on May 30, 1980, in Whiston Merseyside, Liverpool, United Kingdom, Gerrard is one of the greatest footballers in his generation.
He spent his playing career playing for Liverpool, LA Galaxy and England National Team as a central midfielder.
While he was with Liverpool, he won nine trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, two FA Cups, and three League Cups.
Gerrard’s successful career records 114 England caps and 21 goals, during which he served as captain of the team 38 times.
He has appeared in three UEFA European Championships, and played in three FIFA World Cups.

Steven Gerrard Managerial Career
So far, he has managed Liverpool U-18 and U-19 teams, Rangers and now, Aston Villa FC.
He helped the Rangers win its first league title in 10 years.
Gerrard has won several awards and accolades in entire career as a player and manager put together.
Some of them include UEFA Club Footballer of the Year in 2005, PFA Players’ Player of the Year in 2006, and FWA Footballer of the Year in 2009.
In 2007, he was appointed as a Member of the Order of the British Empire and in 2021, he was inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
Also in 2021, the PFA Scotland and the SFWA honoured him with the Manager of the year Award.
