Benjamin Netanyahu is an Israeli politician who served as the ninth prime minister of Israel from 1996 to 1999 and again from 2009 to 2021. He is currently serving as Leader of the Opposition and Chairman of Likud – National Liberal Movement.

Benjamin Netanyahu Parents: Meet Benzion Netanyahu & Zila Netanyahu
Benzion Netanyahu and Zila Netanyahu are the parents of Benjamin Netanyahu.
Benjamin’s father Benzion Netanyahu was an Israeli encyclopedist, historian, and medievalist. He served as a Professor of History at Cornell University. A scholar of Judaic history, he was also an activist in the Revisionist Zionism movement, who lobbied in the United States to support the creation of the Jewish state.

He was born in Warsaw in partitioned Poland which was under Russian control, to Sarah (Lurie) and the writer and Zionist activist Nathan Mileikowsky.
Netanyahu died on the morning of April 30, 2012, in his Jerusalem home at the age of 102. He was survived by two of his three sons, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Benjamin’s mother Zila Netanyahu was born on August 28, 1912. She died on January 31, 2000, in Jerusalem.
Zila Netanyahu and her husband Benzion Netanyahu married from 1944 to her death in 2000.
Through their marriage, they produced three wonderful children; Iddo Netanyahu, Yonatan Netanyahu, and Benjamin Netanyahu.
