Television actress Vaishali Takkar, 30, died by suicide at her home in Tejaji Nagar, Indore on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She died by hanging.

Her father discovered her body on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Her body was taken to MY Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A suicide note was found in her bedroom, stating that she had been harassed by her former boyfriend
“We recovered a note from her possession,” Tejaji Nagar police station in-charge RD Kanwa said. We are checking its content. It is too early to speculate on the reason for the extreme step.”

Takkar got a break in a TV show after graduating from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya’s educational multimedia research centre (EMRC) in 2014. She had been working in the industry since then.
Takkar began her acting career as Sanjana in the TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ and she has also appeared in ‘Ye Wada Raha,’ ‘Ye hai Ashiqui,’ ‘Sasural Simar Ka,’ ‘Super Sisters,’ ‘Laal Ishq,’ ‘Vish ya Amrit,’ and ‘Manmohini 2.’
Takkar also won an award for her performance as the antagonist in the television show ‘Sasural Simar Ka.’
