Robbie Coltrane was 72 years old at the time of his death. Coltrane played the role of Hogwarts gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter film franchise.

Hagrid is portrayed by only one actor, Robbie Coltrane in all eight Harry Potter films, from Philosopher’s Stone in 2001 to Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011.
