Who is Quinton Simon?

Quinton Simon is a 20-month-old toddler who went missing on October 5, 2022.

Leilani Simon, Quinton’s mother, is the primary suspect in the case. Simon reported her son missing at 9 a.m. on the day he vanished.

He was last seen at the house she shared with her boyfriend, Quinton, her 3-year-old son, and her parents, who have legal custody of both children.

Simon reportedly told dispatchers that she thought her son had been taken from his playpen while she was sleeping. She had, however, texted Quinton’s babysitter at 5:30 a.m. that day, telling her not to come.

The investigation into Quinton’s disappearance took a criminal turn, shortly after Leilani’s mother told police she did not trust her daughter. In an interview, Billie Jo Howell admitted, “She hasn’t always done the right thing.”

According to local authorities and the FBI, Quinton Simon is now presumed dead. However, police have provided no details as to why they believe Quinton is deceased.
