Leilani Simon, Quinton’s mother, is the primary suspect in the case. Simon reported her son missing at 9 a.m. on the day he vanished.

He was last seen at the house she shared with her boyfriend, Quinton, her 3-year-old son, and her parents, who have legal custody of both children.

Although Police Chief Jeff Hadley did not reveal the specific evidence that led investigators to believe Quinton was deceased, he did confirm they arrived at that conclusion after conducting “multiple search warrants and interviews.”
