Bruce Sutter Children: Meet Ben Sutter, Josh Sutter and Chad Sutter

Bruce Sutter was an American professional baseball pitcher. Bruce Sutter was the father of Ben Sutter, Josh Sutter and Chad Sutter.

Chad, his son, was a Tulane University catcher. Sutter graduated from Tulane University in August 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in social science. He lives in Mandeville with his daughter Riley and son Calen.

Sutter was drafted in the 23rd round by the New York Yankees after the 1999 season and spent one year with the organization’s Staten Island affiliate.

Chad spent one season in the minor leagues before joining the Tulane baseball coaching staff. Chad was inducted into the Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 and is the ninth all-time home run hitter in NCAA history.

Chad Sutter was named Freshman All-America by Collegiate Baseball as a rookie in 1996. He still holds the league record for career home runs, RBI, and total bases, as well as finishing third all-time in hits and fourth in runs scored.

There is not much information about his other sons Josh and Ben. Bruce Stutter passed away on October 13, 2022.  He was 69.
