Does Jeremy Hunt have a brother?

Jeremy Richard Streynsham Hunt, a British politician currently serving as Chancellor of the Exchequer (appointed 14 October 2022) has a brother called Charles Hunt.

Jeremy previously served in the Cabinet as;

• Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport from 2010 to 2012,
• Secretary of State for Health and Social Care from 2012 to 2018, and
• Foreign Secretary from 2018 to 2019.

According to The Guardian, Jeremy’s brother Charles is the chief executive of Sunderland’s Duvet and Pillow Warehouse, which according to its website, is “passionate about pillows and duvets”.

One of Charles’ promotional videos was to feature in a tongue-in-cheek series of YouTube viral ads in which a marketing whizz kid comes up with suitably bonkers ideas, only for Hunt to stick with DAPW’s tried and tested “does what it says on the tin” formula.

Naresh Ramchandani, the man behind the advertisement who has previously worked on ads for Ikea, said Sunderland’s Duvet and Pillow Warehouse sought to eschew the more traditional above-the-line marketing approach” to instead focus on cheaper online and social media platforms.
