He has been a fixture on the show since its inception, and he has coached 15 artists whose songs have reached No. 1 on the iTunes top songs chart.
Though it has not been confirmed who will take Shelton’s spot when he does leave, the star has previously spoken about who he would want to replace him on The Voice.

Back in 2017, when asked by Yahoo Entertainment who should take his place if he left, Shelton named David Lee Roth, lead vocalist of Van Halen, as his successor.
Shelton’s last season will be aired in the spring of 2023 where Niall Horan and Chance The Rapper will also take a seat in the famous red chairs, and Kelly Clarkson will return after a hiatus from the show.
