Lucy Letby Parents: Who Are Lucy Letby’s Mother And Father?

Lucy Letby is a British nurse standing trial in connection with the deaths of seven babies.

Lucy was born in 1990 to her father John Letby who is 76 years old and her mother Susan Letby who is 62 years old.

Her parents have been supportive since the beginning of her case in 2020.  Lucy is a 2011 Chester University graduate. She went on to work at Liverpool Women’s Hospital after finishing her studies.

Lucy Letby is accused of murdering five boys and two girls and attempting to murder five boys and five girls, between June 2015 and June 2016.

Letby’s trial started at 10 am today, October 10, 2022, at Manchester Crown Court. She is facing seven charges of murder and 10 of attempted murder.

Her parents, John and Susan watched as proceedings were relayed to annexe courtrooms attended by families of the children involved and members of the press.

The hearing has now been adjourned until Thursday, October 13, 2022, when a legal argument is expected to take place. The trial at Manchester Crown Court is estimated to last up to six months.
