Born on April 9, 1986, in Syracuse, New York, Hart had his collegiate football career at the University of Michigan, finishing with a rushing record of 5,040 yards.

In 2008, The Indianapolis Colts picked him in the sixth round of the NFL Draft of that year.

In his first three seasons with the Colts, he played as back-up until 2011.

Hart completed his playing career with 71 rushing attempts, 264 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns, 12 receptions, and 97 receiving yards.

Hart’s coaching career began in 2011, when he was selected as the offensive quality control coach at Eastern Michigan University.
