Russell Joseph Howard is an English comedian, television host, radio host, and actor.

Russell Howard is not disabled in any way. However, his brother Daniel suffers from epilepsy, to which Howard occasionally refers during his act.
Russell Howard is best known for his television show Russell Howard’s Good News, which he currently hosts, as well as his appearances on the topical panel show Mock the Week.
He was nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award for his 2006 Aberdeen Festival Fringe show and won “Best Compère” at the 2006 Chortle Awards. Howard’s influences include comedians Lee Evans, Richard Pryor, and Frank Skinner.

From 2015 to 2016, Howard hosted Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central on Comedy Central. Howard was unable to present the show’s third series in 2017 due to tour commitments and was replaced by Chris Ramsey.
In 2015, he performed stand-up comedy on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
