Luke Kwon Accident: How it happened

According to Good Good Golf, Luke Kwon was “involved in an accident” on Friday, September 23, 2022, resulting in “significant trauma to his head.” No further details were shared about the cause and the nature of the accident.

On September 27, Good Good Golf provided an update on Luke’s condition with a few more details. ” Fortunately, Luke received a successful brain surgery at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center and has made tremendous progress over the last couple of days.”

Luke Kwon, 30, was born on August 11, 1992, in Seoul, South Korea. He immigrated to the United States with his family when he was a child.

Kwon is still based in the United States, even though he represents South Korea on the international golf stage.

Luke Kwon began his professional golf career after graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a degree in Human Relations.

Kwon had played college golf at the University of Oklahoma. He shared the course with PGA TOUR Series-China competitors Charlie Saxon and Max McGreevy.

Luke Kwon went pro the same year he graduated. Kwon now lives in Carrollton, Texas.
