Actress and comedian Judy Tenuta died on October 6, 2022, at the age of 72.

She was described as “a funny, amazing performer with no dull moments around her.”

For Michael McKean, of “Spinal Tap” fame, tweeted, the late comedian was “One of a kind.”

Tenuta is survived by her family members. Funeral arrangements for the late icon will be communicated to the public in due time.

Who Was Judy Tenuta?

Judy Tenuta was an American comedian, actress and comic author, known for insult comedy and humourous stage antics.

Born on November 7, 1949, Tenuta authored two comedy books titled Full Frontal Tenudity and The Power of Judyism.

She also released five comedy CD’s, and earned two Oscar nominations for “Best Comedy Album”.

Tenuta’s career began in the late 1970s, when she performed stand up comedies in small time shows, dressing up as the Virgin Mary.

She also graced the TV screens during the 80s, appearing in some TV ads for MTV and Diet Dr Pepper.

Tenuta went on to later appear in “The Vagina Monologues” and “Menopause the Musical”.
