Loretta Lynn, an American singer-songwriter whose career spanned six decades in country music did have twins. Lynn had a total of six children (including the twins).

The twins Peggy Jean and Patsy Eileen Lynn were born on August 6, 1964 and named after her sister Peggy Sue Wright and her friend, Patsy Cline respectively.
The rest of her children include;
- Betty Sue Lynn (November 26, 1948 – July 29, 2013)
- Jack Benny Lynn, (December 7, 1949 – July 22, 1984)
- Ernest Ray “Ernie” Lynn (born May 27, 1951)
- Clara Marie “Cissie” Lynn (born April 7, 1952)

Sadly Loretta Lyyn has died. She passed away on October 4, 2022 at age 90.

Prior to her death, Lynn suffered from various health concerns, including pneumonia on multiple occasions, and a broken arm after a fall at home.
In 2010, she missed a tribute to her from other women of country music due to undergoing knee surgery.
Seven years later, she had a stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills and was taken to a Nashville hospital.
As a result, she had to cancel all of her upcoming tour dates, which meant that the release of her album Wouldn’t It Be Great was delayed until 2018.
On January 1, 2018, Lynn fell and broke her hip.
Lynn died in her sleep at her home in Hurricane Mills.
