Who Is Brandon Figueroa?

Brandon Figueroa is an American pro boxer, born on December 29, 1996, in Texas, United States.

Figueroa is a WBC super bantamweight title holder, who has won 23 out of 25 fights so far.

Figueroa is the brother of former WBC feather weight champion, Omar Figueroa.

In 2022, Figueroa ranked number 2 on the list of super bantamweight boxing record.

Figueroa turned pro in 2015 and made his debut when he was matched against Hector Gutierrez.

In 2019, Figueroa was matched against Julio Ceja, in defense of his WBA Regular super bantamweight title.

The event which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada, ended split decision draw after twelve rounds.

Ceja was scored 116-112 by one if the judges, Figueroa was scored 115-113 by another judge, while the final judge rounded the bout as a 114-114 draw.

Figueroa’s second WBA title defense was against Damien Vazquez.

The event took place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Montville, Connecticut, in 2020. He had been victorious by a tenth-round technical knockout.

He recorded a victory by a unanimous decision. In 2022, he beat WBC featherweight contender, Carlos Castro, during a buoy organized in San Antonio, Texas.
