According to investigators, Quaynor was stopped at a red light when he was hit by a driver who was speeding and may have been drinking.
The crash forced Quaynor’s car to veer through the intersection and hit a wall before catching fire in the process.
The Police said people around tried to pull the footballer out of the car but all attempts failed and he died in the fire.
