Britton published her first book, Fern’s Family Favourites, in 1998.

In 2008, she published My Story, which made it to The Sunday Times Top Ten Bestseller list.

So far, Britton has authored 6 novels – New Beginnings, Hidden Treasures, The Holiday Home, A Seaside Affair, A Good Catch and The Postcard.
