As a TV star, Britton is known to have co-hosted the 1980 morning show tagged Breakfast Time. She has also played host on the BBC cookery game show Ready Steady Cook between the early 90s and the beginning of the millennium.
Britton has also been a presenter on ITV’s This Morning programme, as well as The Paul O’ Grady Show on Channel 4; and Fishing Scotland’s Lochs & Rivers on Channel 5.
