Cher Children: All about Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman

Cher has two children. They are Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman.

Chaz Bono is an American writer, musician and actor. His parents are entertainers Sonny Bono and Cher and he became widely known in appearances as a child on their television show, The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour.

Between 2008 and 2010, Bono underwent a female-to-male gender transition. A two-part Entertainment Tonight feature in June 2009 explained that his transition started a year before. In May 2010, he legally changed his gender and name.

Elijah Blue Allman on the other hand is an American musician and the son of Cher and her husband, Gregg Allman. He has worked with Thirty Seconds to Mars for the brand’s self-titled debut album and has also provided guest vocals on a variety of songs for other brands including Orgy, Coal Chamber and Sugar Ray.
