Taylor Momsen Parents: Meet Michael and Collette Momsen

Taylor Momsen is a singer, songwriter, model, and former actress from the United States.

Momsen was born in the Missouri city of St. Louis to Michael and Collette Momsen.

Her parents Collette and Michael Momsen signed her up with Ford Modelling at the age of two. Taylor Momsen is of Russian ancestry.

Taylor Momsen was raised Roman Catholic attending Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School for elementary school and later Herbert Hoover Middle School in Potomac, Maryland, but she is now non-religious.

She also studied ballet at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) in St. Louis. Taylor Momsen landed her most well-known role as Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl in 2007. She was a regular on the show until 2012.

Momsen is the singer and rhythm guitarist for the band The Pretty Reckless. The band has had moderate success with its two albums.
