Chad Gilbert is an American musician and record producer best known as a founding member of the rock band New Found Glory.

Chad Gilbert was the vocalist for the hardcore punk band Shai Hulud between 1995 and 1998, and from 2012 to 2013.

Chad Everett Gilbert was born on March 9, 1981, in Coral Springs, Florida, the United States of America. Not much is known regarding his parents, siblings and early childhood.

Chad Gilbert attended J. P. Taravella High School. He eventually dropped out following the 11th-grade. This was after New Found Glory got signed to California-based record label Drive-Thru Records.

As a member of New Found Glory, Chad Gilbert plays lead guitar, sings backing vocals, and composes music. He was also the lead vocalist for the band’s now-defunct side-project, International Superheroes of Hardcore.

Chad Gilbert is the producer of many notable records, including H2O’s Nothing to Prove and A Day to Remember’s albums, Homesick, What Separates Me from You and Common Courtesy.

Hayley Williams was previously in a relationship with Chad Gilbert, the lead guitarist of New Found Glory. The duo started dating in 2007.

Hayley Williams and Chad Gilbert got engaged on Christmas Day 2014. They later tied the knot on February 20, 2016.

On July 1, 2017, Hayley Williams and Chad Gilbert formally announced their separation with the reason being Gilbert’s repeated infidelity.
