According to reports, Hilaree Nelson died after falling during his skiing period from the summit of Mount Manaslu in Nepal.

A number of rescue efforts and searches were conducted to find her whereabouts but to no avail. There was no clue obtained when Hilaree Nelson fell from the mountain for two days and on September 28, 2022, her body was located on the south face of Mount Manaslu.
