Pro tennis player Yoshihito Nishioka is Japanese. He was born in Tsu, Japan, on September 27, 1995.

Yoshihito currently ranks world number 54 on the ATP singles rankings.

His highest ranking so far on the ATP singles ranking is world number 48, which he achieved after he won one ATP Tour singles title in 2020.

Yoshihito Nishioka Career

Yoshihito’s junior career shows a record of 113 wins and 49 losses in singles; and 63 wins and 45 losses in doubles.

Yoshihito turned pro in 2014 and qualified for the US Open.

In the same year, he took home a gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games, after competing in the men’s singles event.

Since 1974, Yoshihito is the first Japanese man to win the men’s singles.

Yoshihito defeated Dan Evans in the third round of the Miami Open in 2022 to qualify for a second time.

Yoshihito competed in the Citi Open that year and, for the first time in his career, reached the quarterfinals and semifinals.

By making it to the finals, where he overcame top seed and world No. 8 Andrey Rublev in straight sets, he completely blew the minds his supporters.

As a result he was ranked the number 1 Japanese player.

Yoshihito is both a left-handed and right-handed player and has so far won $3,805,379 prize money.
