Rashard Lewis is a former basketball player born on August 8, 1979.

As a pro NBA player, Lewis played as a forward for the Seattle SuperSonics, Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards and Miami Heat.

Lewis began his NBA career from Alief Elsik High School.

He ditched college following his selection by the Seattle SuperSonics as 32nd pick, in the 1998 NBA draft.

In 2014, Lewis got signed with the Dallas Mavericks but his contact was annulled due to a knee injury.

He came to limelight in the NBA as a top scorer while he played for the Seattle SuperSonics, the Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards and Miami Heat.

Lewis faced a ban at some point in his career, after a failed drug test.

Lewis is a two-time NBA All-Star and won an NBA championship in 2013.

Lewis was named NBA champion in 2013, Mr. Basketball USA in 1998, First-team Parade All-American in 1998, McDonald’s All-American and Texas Mr. Basketball, also in 1998.

His career ended with a record of 15,579 points, 5,433 rebounds and 1,115 steals.

In 2017, Lewis was absorbed into the 3 Headed Monsters of the BIG3 basketball league.
