Trent Reznor is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer, born on May 17, 1965, in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
Reznor is the lead singer and founder of the industrial rock band, Nine Inch Nail.
He founded the group in 1988 and served as its solo member up until 2016, when Atticus Ross and Rob Sheridan joined.
He released the Nine Inch Nails album, Pretty Hate Machine, in 1989, which was critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
So far, Reznor has put out an additional 11 Nine Inch Nails studio albums.

Trent Reznor Career
Midway through the 1980s, Reznor launched his musical career with the synth-pop groups Option 30, The Innocent, and Exotic Birds.
He has worked with a number of musicians, including Halsey, Marilyn Manson, and rapper Saul Williams.
With his wife Mariqueen Maandig, Reznor founded the post-industrial band How to Destroy Angels in 2009.
Reznor and the rest of Nine Inch Nail started scoring music for movies and television shows in 2010.
They successfully scored a number of films including The Social Network (2010), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Gone Girl (2014), and Mank (2020).
So far, they have won numerous awards for composing music for films including the Academy Award, the Grammy Award, the Primetime Emmy Award, and the Golden Globe Award.
