What did the Manson family do to Sharon Tate?

Sharon Tate was an American actress and model. On August 9, 1969, Tate and four others were murdered in the home she shared with Polanski by members of the Manson Family, a cult.

Sharon and Jay Sebring were tied around the necks with a white cord that stretched across a high ceiling beam between them inside the house.

Sebring had been stabbed seven times and shot in the face. Sharon had sixteen stab wounds in her back and chest.

Sharon reportedly begged the murderers to spare the life of her unborn child as she was being stabbed.

But her cries were met with cold, calloused hatred from Atkins, who screamed back, “I don’t care about you or your baby.” “The word “pig” was scribbled in Sharon’s blood on the outside of the front door.
